I started seeing Vanessa when my almost-four-year-old has suddenly developed a stutter that heightened when he’s excited. She started training me on the Lidcombe Programme through teletherapy. Vanessa is excellent and has been a great help. She is very competent and organized, and continues to provide support during and after each session; she models the techniques for me while playing with my child during the session, gives me feedback on how I implemented the technique during the sessions, provides me with weekly goals and activity options to play outside the session environment, and checks with me on progress at the start of each session. Vanessa is also very friendly; my son is excited to meet her via Zoom every week and responds well to her. Her excitement about his progress in the sessions is so genuine; she truly cares about her clients. We were lucky to have Vanessa in our life.
